When out-of-work actress Greta May hooks up with the man who gave her his phone number on the Tube, it's the start of an adventure into the wilder realms of sex. Her new friend, Richard, convinces her to play a game in which the rule is obedience and the prize is the knowledge Greta begins to learn about the true nature of her sexuality. Along the way she is exposed in public, spanked, introduced to watersports and the world of pony carting, each experience only serving to make her stronger and more confident.
A Girl's Adventure is one of those cheeky, upbeat CP novels where punishment is something to be enjoyed, rather than endured. The engaging Greta quickly comes to see sex as a positive force, embracing her newfound desires with missionary (among other positions) zeal and enriching the sex lives of her friends and colleagues as she goes. You'll be left as glowing as Greta's well-spanked bottom by the end, and you'll have enjoyed the adventure.

Chloe Thurlow reveals the secret, sexual desires of both women and men, and does it in such a way that the reader is liberated from all inhibitions and allowed free rein to experience the all-too real, yet hidden passions behind the masks of social conservatism we've all learned to wear. Too, it's such a pleasure to read erotica that is so well-written, so full of fire, and endowed with characters who are reflections of ourselves. Well done, Chloe. This is one exciting pony ride of sexual discovery from cover to cover. Sterling in every regard.

When traveling by tube in London, anything can happen, and it does to Greta May. But even she couldn't imagine exactly what she was letting herself in for. Richard is the stranger on the train that cheekily encourages Greta to play a game of sex and adventure. With the opportunity to meet weird and wonderful people along the way and experience pleasure with added bite, this is one ride that Greta will never forget.
If you are, as I am, a female and of a sensitive disposition in a sexual sense, then this book will have you crossing your legs on more than one occasion. A Girl's Adventure caters for those who love to push the boundaries between pleasure and pain and I can't help but think that this will encourage the curious to buy. Despite this, I feel that the novel is superbly written and I can't fault the depth of characterisation in any way. The storyline travels forward at a good pace and there's plenty of sexy action to be had.
Although this novel does not appeal to me (my tastes are geared less towards the painful side of things!), I'm positive it will be loved by many and enjoyed by even more.

This is a great work of the human imagination. It makes the Kama Sutra look impotent. If only there were more women like Greta! I suspect a lot of readers would like to meet Chloe too. Thurlow transmutes potential pain into pure pleasure. It is the kind of book that makes real life seem almost unbearable.

The Best in Erotic Fiction

Normally erotic fiction isn’t really The New Nude’s cup of tea, but when our very own staff writer and former editor Chloe Thurlow produces her own publication, with a cover by Petter Hegre, we consider this important news.
A Girl’s Adventure is the story of Greta May, a failed actress who meets a mysterious stranger who guides her down a road of sexual discovery where anything and everything goes, proving yet again that appearances are almost certainly to be deceiving, and the lines between sensuality, kink, and outrageousness are often blurred at best.

In my view A Girl's Adventure is one of the best Chimera have published, on a par with Rectory of Correction, Hall of Infamy and Damsels in Distress. Also on a par with Tara Black's Notebooks of the Young Wife.
A Girl's Adventure is very readable, a good tale, has excellent descriptions of the thoughts of Greta and the various ordeals she has to survive, and is an exciting adventure story I was reluctant to put down and wished would last a little longer. Nice cover picture too.
